We are proud to celebrate Dr. Victor Perez's 17 years of service as the Chief of the Plastic Surgery Service at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. Dr. Perez recently received a commemorative pin honoring 15 years of service (a little late, but worth the wait!). As a surgical practice, our entire staff is exceedingly proud of the important surgical services Dr. Perez provides to retired servicemen and servicewomen in our region.
For nearly two decades, Dr. Perez has been providing reconstructive surgical services at the VA hospital. Dr. Perez began working at the VA in 2002, right after he completed his plastic surgery residency at The Loma Linda University Medical Center. In this capacity, he performs a wide array of procedures, including:
- Hand surgery (including correction of Dupuytren's disease)
- Eyelid surgery
- Skin lesion removal
- Wound closure
- General plastic surgery services
Dr. Perez is and has always been honored to serve as Chief of Plastic Surgery at the VA. The heroic and courageous men and women in our military deserve state-of-the-art surgical services and compassionate care. Dr. Perez is passionate about having the opportunity to provide both.
