There is a common misconception that you can not move your arms after a breast lift. While it is normal to experience tightness, discomfort, and heaviness in your arms in the days after your procedure, you should move them to keep your muscles limber. Otherwise, the muscles can become tense.
4. Mammograms Are Common
If your surgeon requests a mammogram before your breast lift, there is no need to panic. This is a standard procedure to ensure your breast health ahead of the surgery. You might also have to undergo another mammogram several months after your procedure, again standard practice.
